Yojimbo (Yojinbo)

In the middle of rural 19th century Japan, Sanjuro, a wandering samurai, arrives in a town controlled by two rival gangs. With his cleverness, he manipulated both parties to destroy each other. However, everything changes when Unosuke, the cunning, revolver-wielding son of one of the gang's bosses, appears. After saving a woman and her family, Sanjuro was tortured and almost died in a massacre carried out by Unosuke. Escaping with the help of an innkeeper, he recovers at a temple—only to discover that the innkeeper has been kidnapped. Now, Sanjuro must return and face his most dangerous enemy. Who will survive?
