Comment Rules
Comments on XCINEMA are handled by Disqus and open to everyone. The rules below keep the section useful for people who come to talk about what they are watching.
What we expect
- Talk about the movie, not the person commenting on it.
- Mark story spoilers with the word "SPOILER" at the start of your comment. Many people read this section before watching.
- If a source does not play, name the source and the device you used — that is the only report we can actually act on.
- Write so others can read you. Abbreviations are fine; sentences without spaces are not.
Removed without warning
- Insults, threats, and attacks on anyone's ethnicity, religion, race, gender, or orientation.
- Download links, affiliate links, promotion of other sites, and contact numbers.
- Sexual content, graphic violence, and anything involving minors.
- Other people's personal data — full names, addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts.
- The same comment repeated across many pages, or sent repeatedly from one account.
Enforcement
Comments that break the rules are removed, and accounts that repeat it are blocked from commenting. Those decisions are not negotiated in the comment section. If a comment is removed and you believe that was a mistake, report it via the report button on the title's watch page.
Comments run on Disqus, so profiles, history, and comment privacy settings are managed there, not on this site. XCINEMA does not store visitor accounts.
