A kind-hearted homeless man finds a baby abandoned on the street and raises it as his own child. Five years pass, the two of them survive with small tricks—until one day, the past of their mother, who is now an opera star, comes to haunt them. When the authorities try to separate them, the homeless man does everything to protect the child who has become his world. Will their love be strong enough to defeat fate?
