The Apartment

C.C. Baxter, an ordinary employee at the insurance company Consolidated Life, has a cunning trick to climb the career ladder: he lends his apartment to company executives for their shady dealings. However, things get complicated when the big boss, Sheldrake, takes advantage of his "services". Baxter is caught between ambition and morals, especially when he falls in love with a beautiful lift girl, Fran Kubelik, who turns out to also have a secret relationship with Sheldrake. Can Baxter get out of this cycle of lies before everything comes crashing down?
