Hollywood 1927: Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a couple of silent film stars who are adored by the public, although behind the scenes, Don is fed up with Lina's selfishness. When the era of sound films arrived, a problem arose—Lina's voice was terrible! With the help of his new girlfriend, Kathy, and best friend Cosmo, Don tries to survive in a changing industry. But can they defeat Lina's cunning plan that won't sink?
