Fenix, a traumatized young man, escapes from a mental institution after meeting a woman from his past. Through flashbacks, it is revealed that he was the victim of his father's cruelty—a circus performer who cut off the arm of his mother, the leader of the "Santa Sangre" cult, before committing suicide. Now, a shaken Fenix believes he has reunited with his mother and become her "hand," beginning a bloody vengeance.
