In "Was Once a Hero" (2024), two sisters, Ginny and Little Bit, escape from outlaw pursuit after their father is murdered. They are joined by Malcolm Hunter, a former lawman who is starting to lose his memory. Together, they adventure across the desert to reach the town of Black Ridge, where they hope to find safety. However, danger and difficulties continue to haunt them. Can Malcolm still protect them?
