Julio Madiaga, a simple fisherman, goes to Manila to look for Ligaya, his girlfriend who disappeared after being taken by a mysterious woman. However, the city plunged him into a hard life full of poverty, exploitation and despair. The deeper he searches, the more he loses himself, trapped in an endless maze of concrete.
