The world has been devastated by a deadly plague that turns humans into monsters of the night. Dr. Robert Morgan is the sole survivor, surviving by killing the creatures during the day and hiding at night. His loneliness feels torturous, until he finds Ruth, an infected woman. Morgan's blood turns out to be able to cure him, but this new hope brings an even more terrible threat. Can he trust the remaining humans?
