The King and the Clown (Wang-ui namja)
In 14th century Korea, two street entertainers, Jang-sang and Gong-gil, support themselves by performing acrobatics and vulgar jokes. However, powerful people's attraction to Gong-gil's androgynous appearance forces them to flee to Seoul. Joining a group of other entertainers, they create a daring performance that mocks the king—an act of recklessness that nearly destroys them.
