Designated Survivor

Designated Survivor follows the life of Tom Kirkman, a cabinet official who is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a terrorist attack destroys the Capitol Building and kills the entire government. The core of the story centers on Kirkman's struggle, who is not ready to lead a country in the midst of a major crisis, while facing conspiracies, political conflicts and global pressure. When every decision can determine the fate of the nation and the people he loves, the question arises: *can a leader who was initially unprepared to face national trauma and political intrigue still stand strong and save his country from destruction?
