In 1932, Frank Wiecek was sentenced to life in prison for killing a police officer. Eleven years later, a newspaper advertisement from Frank's mother caught the attention of journalist P.J. McNeal. Initially convinced of Frank's guilt, McNeal slowly finds holes in the case. However, the closer he gets to the truth, the greater the resistance from the authorities who do not want their mistakes to be revealed. Will justice really be served?
