In the film Aontas (2025), three unlikely women join in a robbery at a rural Irish credit cooperative. However, an unexpected event occurs and puts them in danger. Using reverse chronology, the film reveals what went wrong and how they reached that tipping point. The audience is taken into a tense puzzle and forced to solve the mystery behind the robbery. Will they manage to escape or will they be caught in a crime network?
